Asociación Cultural «La Ricotta» – Proyecto "La Ricotta"

The La Ricotta Cultural Association is a non-profit organisation that provides the legal framework for both the cultural and economic activities. Its by-laws and internal rules of procedure reflect the principles and goals of the La Ricotta project. Such documents are available at this link. Being a non-profit association guarantees that any profit coming from its activities will be reinvested in pursuing its objectives.

Ernesto is a professor in the Department of Theoretical Physics at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and a researcher at the UAM-CSIC Institute for Theoretical Physics, where he devotes himself to unraveling the mysteries of the LHC and other tangles of high-energy physics. A resident of Lavapiés and an activist in CNT Comarcal Sur Madrid, he understands academia as a space that cannot be desentangled from social struggles, advocating for a public, critical university at the service of the community. He strives to naturally weave together science, neighborhood life, taverns, and grassroots self-organization in everyday practice.

Kepa Sousa Sánchez

Kepa is a profesor in the Physics Department of the University of the Basque Country Pais, where he teaches and research on topics related to gravity, cosmology and astrophysics. Even if he now lives in the Basque Country, he still keeps a close relatioship with Castellar de la Frontera (Cádiz), where he delivered outreach activities in collaboration with the Astronimic Asociation Luz-Cero. He is also part of the Cultural Asociation La Guilería, whose main goal is to promote activities related with the arts (especially, drawings, the engraving and watercolor painting) in Castellar de la Frontera, and its area.
