They take advantage of the presence of scientists, or otherwise experts, for talks, experiments, and workshops, with the goal of communicating advanced knowledge and the different aspects of the process that leads to the accumulation of knowledge. Although they are an integral part of the Rural Science Days program, they allow direct and informal interaction between participants and everyone involved in an academic event.

Proposals for open events can be submitted using the dedicated form, which will be sent via email.

Academic events – These are events organized in collaboration with universities and research centers, and funded by them. The scientific program may be directly designed by La Ricotta or by any interested scientists in both the overall structure of the events and their approach. These events are mainly summer schools for predoctoral students and early-career researchers. They are designed to remove economic barriers to participation. The benefits obtained from these events are used to support all public activities.

Proposals for open events can be submitted using the dedicated form, which will be sent via email.
