Collaborations with Schools
Student engagement activities – Activities are designed, implemented, and developed for students at schools of all levels, grounded in an inquiry-based learning pedagogical framework.
Training course for professors – Training courses are delivered for teachers aimed at promoting research-based teaching, providing students with tools that allow them to develop autonomous learning and address questions that are not yet part of their own knowledge.
It is possible to request both student activities and teacher training courses.
Programs, Courses, Workshops, Sessions
Programs – Cultural and educational programs are designed, implemented, and developed for all types of audiences, lasting several days. They are held both within the facilities of La Ricotta and in other contexts.
Courses, workshops, sessions – Courses, workshops, and sessions are designed, implemented, and developed for all types of audiences. Duration may range from 1 hour to 1 week. They are mainly held at La Ricotta, but can also take place in other locations.
It is possible to request these types of activities for specific audiences, preferably held at Espazo La Ricotta, but they can also be held elsewhere. Proposals for these activities can also be submitted using the dedicated form sent via email.
Open
Events
Open events – These are events for the public organized within the framework of academic events. They take advantage of the presence of scientists, or otherwise experts, for talks, experiments, and workshops, with the goal of communicating advanced knowledge and the different aspects of the process that leads to the accumulation of knowledge. Although they are an integral part of the Rural Science Days program, they allow direct and informal interaction between participants and everyone involved in an academic event.
Proposals for open events can be submitted using the dedicated form, which will be sent via email.
Academic
Events
Academic events – These are events organized in collaboration with universities and research centers, and funded by them. The scientific program may be directly designed by La Ricotta or by any interested scientists in both the overall structure of the events and their approach. These events are mainly summer schools for predoctoral students and early-career researchers. They are designed to remove economic barriers to participation. The benefits obtained from these events are used to support all public activities.
Proposals for open events can be submitted using the dedicated form, which will be sent via email.
